Our most important asset is our people; therefore, safety is paramount to Sunesis.

Safety is a core value. It’s the policy of Sunesis that every employee will be provided a workplace free from recognized hazards likely to cause physical harm.

The values built in our policies and procedures include:

• Annual goals and monitoring systems to track performance
• Employee safety orientation and educational programs
• Pre-hire mandatory drug testing and random drug testing
• Weekly onsite “Tool Box” meetings
• Job safety surveys to determine unsafe conditions and corrective procedures
• Published and posted job safety rules
• Accident investigation and reporting procedures
• Arrangements for routine and emergency medical services
• Special instruction for specific jobsite conditions like confined spaces, lockout/tagout, trenching/shoring, etc.
• Record keeping requirements
• Eliminating the exposure in the event a non-compliance or alleged violation of safety and health regulations occurs
